Once Saved, Always Saved is a LIE!

Many people are living in the deception that they are saved. Meaning, after they said the sinner's prayer when they were a child or an older adult, they became saved for life. Truth is it does not work this way. Someone lied to you and told you a fairy tale. Once saved, always saved is a lie that comes straight from the mouth of the enemy. The enemy would like for you to believe this lie so that he could take you straight to Hell with him.

Truth, every day you should be working out your salvation with fear and trembling. "12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.", says Philippians 2: 12 - 13 (NKJV).

Salvation is a gift that comes from God but God expects for you to work it out. This means that you are in constant communication with God asking him to cleanse you from the filth of this world. Some people in the Church profess being saved from sin but continue a lifestyle that does not line up with the Bible. This lifestyle permits them to say and do anything that they want. This is not scriptural nor is this what God would expect from a child of His.

There is a place called Hell that God created for the devil and his angles. This place is clearly found in scripture.

11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. [Revelation 20: 11 – 15 (NKJV)]

The scripture is plain and easy to understand. You will be judged by God at the Great White Throne judgment in Revelation 20. If your name is not found written in the "Lambs Book of Life", you will not enter into Heaven, you will be cast into Hell. You cannot accept God and then live your life any way that you want after you accept Him and then expect to make Heaven your home. You have to change. You have to allow the Holy Spirit inside of you to change your nature.

If you are still the same person that you are when you first received salvation, then you must evaluate (judge) yourself and see if you really got saved. Many people claim that they are a part of Christ but there are no fruits to show that they are really saved.

20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. [Romans 6: 20 – 23 (NKJV)]

Can other people see that you are saved by the way that you act or are you the same mean, hateful person that you have always been. Have you become like Christ? Have you died to your ways? Have you died to your flesh? Have you stopped being offended at everything that does not go your way? Do you find it necessary to judge and criticize other people? If you find yourself in sin, you need to get saved all over again and then start living as Christ lived.

We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. [2 Corinthians 6: 1 - 2 (NKJV)]

Today is the day for salvation. Today is the day to renew your walk with God and show your love for Him. If you really were saved you would be a new person with a new attitude. Look at what Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3: 1 - 20

3 There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”

3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

9 Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?”

10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. [John 3: 1 – 20 (NKJV)]

Nicodemus had to learn that he needed to be born again. He needed a savior and so do you. You can no longer walk in this world and do the things that you do and act the way that you act. You have to become a new person in Christ. How do you do this? It is only through the Holy Spirit. You need to seek the Holy Spirit to change you from the inside out. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman. He will not come into you unless you ask. Ask him today.

John 3 is filled with explanations of why you need to be saved. You need to change fathers. You need God in heaven to be your father. God sent Jesus so that you can be changed and have everlasting life. If you don't believe on Him you will be condemned to Hell. If you don't change fathers, your destiny is to spend eternity in Hell. As you just read in John 3, God wants better for you. Don't believe the lie that once you are saved, you are saved forever. You must work out your salvation and draw near to God.

Look at your deeds, if your deeds are still evil then you have not changed fathers. You have not fully submitted yourself to God. If you practice evil in anyway shape or form you hate the light and darkness is in you. If you are around anyone who is in the light, their light will expose your darkness. I know many people whom I interact with, the God inside of me pushes their devil to the surface. I don't take it personally. I know that the devil is real and that he is here to steal, kill, and destroy. I pray for those who are bound because I know Christ. I know freedom.

If you are reading this and you feel anger inside that's your devil manifesting itself. That's your devil trying to strengthen it's hold upon your life. You can tell the devil, "No!". You don't have to listen to him. Tell him that you don't want him anymore. Tell him to get out of your life. He will listen and God will step in and set you free.

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. [James 4: 7 - 10 (NKJV)]

Tell the devil that you don't believe his lie that once saved, always saved is scriptural. Then watch him leave you once and for all. Invite the Holy Spirit inside and receive that new living water that Christ has for you. Christ died for you to have this freedom.

II Peter 2: 20 - 22; 20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

Once saved, always saved is a lie. Don't believe the lie. Change fathers today.
