Prophets are bowing their knees to the opinion of man. This should never be. Prophets should only bow their knee to God. What a sad day we live in when those who claim to hear the voice of the Lord abandon what God has spoken through them to please men. This is a sin and those prophets who are doing this will lose their mantles and open themselves up to a spirit of delusion.
True Prophets are handpicked by God to speak for Him. True prophets go through a long and intense training period from the Lord. It is rare to see a true prophet back down from what God says. Some of today’s prophets have not had this intense training and they do not what it is to stand up under adversity. Their depth in the Word of God can be said to be shallow and almost non-existent. Their foundations are weak and because of this they have nothing to stand on when adversity hits them.
A true prophet’s message will always be what God says and wants. Nothing will sway a true prophet of God from that message. God can change His mind about a topic, but a true prophet does not have that option. A true prophet of God’s messages will always be what is on the heart of God. Nothing more, nothing less.
Today’s prophets have become overly concerned with pleasing people and not pleasing God. Their relationship with God is questionable and because they are not stable in Him, they can be persuaded to change the Word of the Lord at a time when it is convenient for them. Prophets are seeking comfort and credibility rather than seeking integrity and steadfastness to what God is saying. There has to be integrity and steadfastness in the prophets of God or nothing they say or do will mean anything to the people.
Many prophets are saying that God misspoke through them, or they encountered a counterfeit anointing and that caused them to misunderstand what God was saying. Lie. True prophets don’t hear their own words. True prophets don’t make up prophecies to fit situations and circumstances. These prophets who are saying they were wrong for prophesying about President Trump are apologizing for what God said through them. They are abandoning the words and the anointing that God spoke manifested through them. You cannot have it both ways. You cannot be of God and claim that God spoke wrongly through you. You are destroying the anointing.
This is very serious thing that is going on with the prophets right now. This should not be taken lightly. The prophets who are saying that they were wrong are experiencing backlash and retaliation from worldly church people who don’t know God. What should be produced out this situation in the prophets is a greater level of anointing and integrity in the Spirit. What is happening though is total degradation of God’s house. Division and disunity are ruling the day. The other part of the five-fold ministry should have stood with the prophets but they had their own agenda going. They are ridiculing and roasting the prophets just as bad as those in the world. This should never be.
If you are a prophet and the fire is getting hot, don’t abandon what God spoke through you. Don’t reject the voice of the Lord. You will pay a price for betraying God. You need to understand that as a prophet you are not gonna be liked by the people. You are gonna be come against because the wickedness in the people of God will come against the anointing in you. Don’t abandon your position in Christ to please a few men. They are going to hell and you will go with them.
You need to understand that when you reject the voice of the Lord you are denying the Spirit of God. You are rejecting Him. This is a very dangerous undertaking and you must realize that it will be nearly impossible for you to return to God.
Hebrews 6: 4 – 6 (NKJV)
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.
The bigger picture that prophets need to understand is that when you deny God like this, nothing you ever say will be trusted. Everything you say will tainted and twisted because a spirit of delusion will enter into you. The voice of the Lord will no longer be the voice of the Lord but a twisted mess that will lead people astray.
In the end you must make a choice. Serve God or serve man. You cannot serve two masters. You will hate one and love the other. When the prophets start serving the people they are in fact telling God that they hate Him.
